Installing the Robin Add-In for Word

‍Robin’s Word Add-In gives you access to Robin’s Legal AI Assistant directly in Microsoft Word. With Robin’s Legal AI Assistant, you can accelerate your reviews with AI suggested edits, generate quick summaries, and find information buried in your documents.

‍Install via Microsoft AppSource

  1. Visit Microsoft AppSource.
  2. Click the Get it now button to start your installation.
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account if required then click Get it now to accept Microsoft’s terms.
  4. Click Open in Word to get started.
  5. Your native Word application will automatically open. Click Accept and Continue in the Robin Add-In right hand panel then log in to your Robin Account or sign up if you don’t have a Robin account.

Install directly from within Word

  1. Open any document in Word.
  2. Click Add-ins in your tool bar, then More Add-ins.
  3. Click Find more add-ins at Microsoft AppSource to open Microsoft AppSource.
  4. Search for Robin and follow the steps to Install via Microsoft AppSource.

If Add-In Installation Is Blocked (IT Required)

  • Your company might restrict add-in installs in Word. Ask an IT administrator within your organization to deploy Robin AI using the admin panel.

If the Add-In is not visible after installation

  • In Word navigate to Insert in your toolbar and select My Add-ins.
  • Select the Admin Managed tab, and click Refresh.

Launching the Word Add-in

You can access the Robin add-in from your toolbar anytime you open a document in word. Simply click on the Robin icon to launch the add-in which will appear in the right hand panel.
