Quick Search for Documents in Robin

Robin’s powerful search tool in the Legal Library enables you to locate your information in your documents with ease. There are two quick ways to search for documents in Robin - Keyword Search and Dashboard Filters.

Search using Keywords

  1. Navigate to Documents in the Legal Library.
  2. Click the Search bar in the top right or Command + K on your keyboard.
  3. Choose whether to search everywhere or to limit the search to a specific kind of filter by clicking on any of the following:
    1. Document titles - documents with a title that matches the keyword.
    2. Document properties- documents that contain clauses or terms that match the keyword.
    3. Document contents- documents that contain text that match the keyword.
  4. Type the keyword or phrase in the search bar.
  5. Robin will instantly return a list of documents that match the keyword. If you chose to search everywhere Robin will return a list of all properties and documents with titles and text that match the keyword in the search.
  6. Click on the desired document to view it in a detailed page or click View All Results to open Advanced Search and see a list of all documents that match the keyword.
  7. Use Advanced Search filters to further refine your search if required.
  8. Choose a single document to view in more details or use the checkboxes to add multiple documents to a Table or Chat.

 Search using Dashboard Filters

  1. Navigate to Documents in the Legal Library.
  2. Use filter to refine search by:
    1. Permission Group
    2. Document Type
    3. Status.
  3. Combine multiple filters as necessary e.g select Type "Services Agreement" in Permission Group "ABC Project" to narrow down the search.
  4. Click on a single document to view in more detail or use the checkboxes to add multiple documents to a Table or Chat.
