On Thursday 26th October, the Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak, delivered a speech on AI ahead of the AI Safety Summit. During his speech he called out Robin AI for our work helping lawyers and businesses to harness the power of legal AI. He said, "in the private sector, start ups like Robin AI are revolutionising the legal profession, writing contracts in minutes, saving businesses and customers time and money."
This reference to Robin AI was a welcome reflection of the hard work from the Robin AI team to build an AI contract copilot that enables lawyers to fly through contract review. Robin AI's contract copilot has thousands of users across the globe, who are using the tools to generate better business outcomes, to improve efficiency and to boost productivity.

By combining the power of Large Language Models (LLMs), propriety machine learning techniques, and the AI and legal expertise, Robin AI has delivered an AI contract copilot that is uniquely tailored to the requirements of lawyers. Robin AI's offering includes cutting edge applications of LLMs, enabling lawyers to access AI-suggested edits for their contracts, and enabling natural language querying of contract repositories.
To further support lawyers in their day-to-day working environment, Robin AI has recently launched a new Add-In for Microsoft Word. This enables lawyers to harness the power of Robin AI's contract copilot directly in Word. It's estimated that around 90% of lawyers use Microsoft Word to review and markup their contracts.
From Robin AI's GC Report which was published in October 2023, it is clear that in-house legal teams are regularly 30% - 40% of their time on routine contract review, making it important to have tools that will accelerate processes, and free up time in teams. From in-house to private practice, lawyers can continue to use their word processor of choice, but enhance their experience with legal AI.
